In the late afternoon of July 25th, I began experiencing symptoms that caused me concern. My primary care physician’s office had closed for the day, and, while I didn’t want to go to the E.R., I didn’t really want to wait until my doctor’s office reopened in the morning either. Thank God there are places such as EmergencyMD when we are looking for some place that can fill that gap. I will always be eternally grateful I made the decision to go there that day.
As it turned out, my condition was much more serious than I had thought. EmergencyMD had all the necessary equipment on hand, and they were able to perform all the tests necessary to diagnose my symptoms within minutes. And all at a fraction of the cost of an ER!! They are lifesavers – in the truest sense of the word!
Dr. Montagano, who hadn’t even been my attending physician that night, called twice to check on me after my visit. When I stopped by their facility the following week, I was greeted with a hug and words of relief that I was okay. His warmth and level of compassion went above and beyond what we typically see in doctors these days. I will never forget that!
I hope to never need their services again, but I would go back to EmergencyMD in a heartbeat. (Just hopefully not an irregular one this time.)
